Hastelloy C276 Flanges Fabrication and Heat Treatment
Commonly, C-276 alloy is solution heated to 2050°F (1121°C) and then quickly cooled. Before final manufacture or installation, hot-formed components should, if feasible, be liquid heat-treated. The adaptable corrosion-resistant Hastelloy C276 Flanges are a wrought alloy. It typically doesn't require solution heat treatment after forging and has a significantly increased fabricability, so alloy C-276 is a better-wrought form of alloy C. This alloy is acceptable for most chemical process operations in the as-welded condition because it prevents the development of grain-boundary provokes in the weld heat-affected region.
On the other hand, in settings where the C-276 alloy weld connection is attacked. Materials for C-22 and weld filler must be taken into account. The C-276 alloy exhibits exceptional resistance to oxidizing and reducing environments and localized corrosion. Additionally, it is one of the few substances that can tolerate the corrosive impacts of hypochlorite, chlorine, and moist chlorine gas.

This threaded flange is utilized in piping systems with minimal pipe diameters.
